The Jupiter Heavy Duty Flying Lead Orientation Tool (FLOT) is designed to provide controlled alignment of fly-to-place type connector heads.
The Jupiter Heavy Duty Flying Lead Orientation Tool (HD FLOT) interfaces to Jupiter Class 1-4 Hydraulic and Electric Torque Tools.
The FLOT is designed to provide controlled alignment of fly-to-place type connector heads. When used in conjunction with a Jupiter Torque Tool, the FLOT is capable of articulating a payload of 318kg (700 lb) acting on the nose of the torque tool. The FLOT provides +60° to -90° pitch and ±15° roll with an available roll torque of 2,400N·m.
Designed to seamlessly integrate with the Zetechtics range of Jupiter Subsea Control Systems; however, the tool can operate with other systems with suitable hydraulic interfaces.
