The Scorpion Subsea ROV Operated Torque Limiting Tool (Torque Clutch Tool) is a modular, seal free device with a compliant drive designed for manipulator deployment and operation. The Torque Limiter ensures the safe operation of all low torque interfaces when the output torque of a given manipulator or torque tool cannot be assured.

Description

The Torque Clutch Tool’s modular parts enable versatility and ease in setting the appropriate limiter on ROV operations. Once desired limiter is in place, the output torque can be set anywhere within the limiters range during operations using the adjustable dial located on the limiter itself.

The machine is supplied complete with modular handle, torque limiter, socket drive adapter, Pelican case, packing list and manual. Options include a modular compliant drive (open or over-molded) and various custom square drives per client request.
